Brownie lost the track of Lola and although he was looking for, he did not find her.
Her mother took her to another city so that she aborted and afterwards Lola, finaly, left her mother going to Melbourne.
Their hair was dyed and works in a bar where sometimes she touches the piano.
One day the boat where Brownie was enlisted arrives to Melbourne and Brownie has permission and goes to a bar
and hears the same melody that Lola usually played at home in Bundaberg.
He approaches behind her and although he sees a blond girl, he says "Lola" and she turns to him
sending themselves in their arms and kissing themselves enthusiastically.
Lola and Brownie are dancing on a party.
Lola sees that there is a woman with a little girl in her arms and requests to Brownie that the serve to dance.
He does it and the called girl Mavis says to him that she cannot because she has the little girl,
but Lola says to her that she will take care of the little girl while they dance.
The face of Mavis that was sad illuminates and leaves to dance wildly with Brownie while Lola watches them satisfied
with little Sharon Faylene in her arms.

Lola and Bwonie have left running the celebration where they were dancing leaving to Lyle and Mavis because the police has entered.
Although Bosun has entertained the agents, over the street they have tripped over more police and they have turned in round running and calling the attention
and in the end they have arrested.
A judge has separated to Lola and Brownie by a period of 12 months and to Lola has taken it to the care to a particular house of a person who dedicates itself to correct turned aside girls of the social norm.
Aunt Westbury hides to Lola the letters that Brownie sends to her from different ports since he was enlisted as a sailor and Lola discovers that those letters aunt Westbury threw them to the sweepings.
The confrontation of Lola reproaching to her that she does not have love in her body and the scene in which gives a punch in her face since she does not understand the words, is fabulous.

Lola has gone away of the house of aunt Westbury and calls by telephone from a cabin to her mother to request aid to her, but Mrs. Lovell is drunk and with men and makes see that it does not understand her. Lola hangs and breaks the crystal of the telephone cabin crying desperate.
Lola has been sent to a correctional and the mistreat that they give them the motronas causes a revolt between the girls who put all legs above, burning mattresses and destroying all the furniture having to go the police to stop the disturbance. To Lola only it has left 15 days to finish the sentence of 12 months and it finishes turning 18 years.

After many ups and downs in which Mavis has died and Lola it remains with Sharon thinking that Brownie has gotten tired of her and has become to enlist of sailor, has not been thus and Brownie returns to look for her and although it takes in finding her in the end both are together in a hill full of joy and happiness. But the film does not finish here, although the video clip of "Tears in my Pillow" yes.
